Accelerated Reading (AR)
Each child is assigned a number of points they are expected to earn for the quarter based on their reading level. Only books that earn an 80% or higher on the AR test will count towards their goal.  AR is 20% of each students grade.   
Front Row
Often times assignments from Front Row will be assigned for completion. While students have time to work on these reading and writing assignments in class, if students do not finish the assignments they are expected to complete them for homework. The 8th grade class code is stolz5
