Welcome!!
Hello! My name is Maggie Beal and I am currently the 7th grade homeroom teacher and middle school English Language Arts teacher. I started my teaching journey with OLQP in January of 2018, as the 5th grade homeroom teacher and 5th-8th grade English Language Arts teacher. I moved into the 7th grade homeroom position last school year. This year I was also the 7th and 8th grade soccer coach and I am loved every minute of working with students in and out of the classroom. Last summer I worked for the Milwaukee Brewers and it was an amazing time being able to attend and see the comradery of a professional baseball team. This past summer, I also purchased my first puppy! Her name is Raina and she keeps me pretty busy.
I graduated from Lake Superior State University in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan with a Bachelor’s in History in 2015 and where I ran track and field. I then went on to graduate from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018 with my Master’s in Military History. I am back in school at Cardinal Stritch University working towards earning my second Master’s in Higher Education.
I grew up in and around various school’s because both of my parents are teachers. My mother is currently the Dean of Instruction at Saint Catherine’s (a Seton school). My father taught personal finance management at Great Lakes Naval Base.
I have a passion and a love to help educate the future leaders of the world. I have already been a witness to the hard work and dedication these students have been putting into their school work.
