Our Lady Queen of Peace Choir – Easter 2018:
“He who sows good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world, the good seed the children of the kingdom.” Matthew 13
Happy Summer!! Across the many beautiful farms of Wisconsin, planting was finished weeks ago. Now the rains and occasional sunshine are working their magic to bring thousands of plants to the end of their growth cycle. Likewise in our congregation, there are people with bountiful talents and spiritual gifts just waiting to be called to action. Maybe you have been asked, perhaps not. Every Gospel you hear this summer will remind you that Jesus is recruiting workers for his Kingdom. Your job might even be to help with the calling! If you hear someone singing well near you at Mass, don’t be afraid to encourage them to join the choir.
And remember that I am always eager to hear your thoughts on the music we do, or that you’d like for us to do! If you travel and visit other churches, we love to hear about the great things happening elsewhere that could make our liturgies better. My number is 672-0313 ext. 110, or email me at email@example.com.
